During your first consultation, I’ll take a full history and go through your problems in detail. I’ll perform a thorough cardiovascular examination and may perform an ECG. I’ll talk through the potential diagnosis with you and explain the treatment or management plan before ordering any tests I feel are appropriate.
After the appointment, the hospital will contact you directly to organise any necessary tests. These can be arranged to fit around your schedule.
You’ll also receive full contact details for myself and my team. We aim to be available for any questions at any time, and I’ll always get back to you as soon as possible to answer any concerns you may have.
Coronavirus - New patients
Due to COVID-19 we have removed our online booking facility. Matt’s NHS duties are now taking precedence under the current crisis and to support this, we are taking a more flexible approach.
To keep us all safe, we have moved to telephone and video consultations unless a face-to-face consultation is urgently required.
We aim for same-day appointments where possible. Please don’t delay in getting in touch – we have a range of options and want to be as helpful as we can to support new patients during this difficult time.
Please call Claire on 0161 726 5100
For all existing patients, we continue to operate our dedicated out of hours telephone line.
These fees include the ongoing support we offer after your appointment. You’ll receive full contact details and we’ll be happy to answer any questions.
